City Celebrations & Street Festivals in Full Bloom!
Spring is a time of birds chirping, seeds sprouting, and street festivals! In the past few weeks Imagine Circus has traveled all over the Triangle, enchanting festival goers and spreading circus cheer! On April 29th our fairy winged stilt walker and flora vine stilt creature roved around Spring Daze Arts and Crafts Festival, Cary’s annual Earth Day Celebration under the lush canopy of Bond Park. This free event featured over 170 artists, four stages, and over 15,000 festival attendees! Also on April 29th Imagine Circus visited Siler City, NC for Day of the Books or El Día de los Libros, a children’s festival promoting “literacy, the arts, early childhood education and multiculturalism.” All children who attended received free books! On May 6th Imagine Circus sent performers to three outdoor events– the 37th Annual Apex Peakfest in downtown Apex, NC, the Learning Experience St. Baldrick’s Cancer Free 2017 Fundraiser and the NAMI Walks Fundraiser in Raleigh, NC. Our acrobats, stilt walkers, hoopers, and living statues engaged with guests and added to the buzzing atmosphere!
