Aerial Dancers Pour Champagne from Above

Guests enjoyed a one-of-a-kind new year’s eve toast with an interactive aerial performance that combined service, style, and entertainment. Imagine Circus offered dueling aerial bartenders suspended from two extravagant crystal chandeliers, surprising guests as they entered the party by serving champagne from above.

Ringing in the New Year with New Stilt Costumes

We proudly debuted our newest “Purple Rain” stilt costumes, complete with LED light up “clouds”, as well as our new, six piece velvet and lace bodysuit collection. It was a wonderful night spreading circus cheer across the US! Wishing all of you a prosperous New Year filled with good health and happiness!

Artistic Collaborations

“Angels & Demons” Body Paint Photoshoot

On November 5th a collective of amateur and professional photographers commissioned Imagine Circus body painters to create a compilation of six body painted cirque performers for an “Angels versus Demons” photoshoot. Our performers not only posed for photos, but performed a variety of fire dancing, acrobatics, and flow arts. Highlighting the imaginative vision of four body painters, this collaborative project resulted in a stunning display of art, beauty and the melding of creative minds.

Another groovy time was had by all at Hippie Fest on October 28th. This time hosted at the Myrtle Beach Speedway in South Carolina. Hippie Fest showcased hundreds of artists and vendors offering an endless array of bohemian goodies, alongside family-friendly entertainment for all ages. Shibari in the Garden of Eden

To bring a sexy side to this Secret Garden party, our performers surprised guests with a one-of-a-kind shabari performance. The contemporary meaning of Shibari describes an ancient Japanese artistic form of rope bondage. The origin of Shibari comes from Hojo-jutsu, the martial art of restraining captives. We offer unique shibari performances which involve two performers working together to create visually intricate patterns and elaborate knots.

Recently Imagine Circus entertained at a company picnic, an outdoor event held in Greensboro, NC to appreciate employees and their families. We showcased fun activities and interactive performances that made everyone feel like kid again! Our juggler roved throughout the event, spreading smiles with his unique skills. Meanwhile our bubble artist made giant bubbles, letting the children get in on the action and try the special bubble wands (pictured below). At the same time, our stilt walker strolled through the outdoors, posing for photos and spreading circus cheer!

On the other side of the spectrum, we offer corporate entertainment for adult only events. NCMA Family Renaissance Festival

We loved spending our Sunday afternoon at the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC for the Family Renaissance Festival on June 4th, 2017. In the beautiful sunshine Imagine Circus featured stilt walking and juggling across the serene surroundings of the museum park. We enjoyed performing alongside friends from One Tribe as they shared the rhythm of the drums and the power of music. The event offered various activities and attractions including mask making, live action renaissance combat demos, classic renaissance games, short plays, and tasty food trucks. This event happens every year and is great for the whole family!

Hippie Fest & Earth Day Celebration

Our stilt walking winged faeries fluttered about Hippie Fest in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, April 22nd, adding circus cheer to the playful Earth Day celebration featuring over 400 artists and vendors, bohemian shopping, local goods, live music, and drum circles! Imagine Circus performers danced with the bands and posed for photos as festival goers flashed peace signs and far out flower headdresses. The beautiful day at Hodge’s Family Farm was full of whimsical creatures, sunshine, and groovy vibes!

Stilt Walkers & Fire Dancers at Raleigh Midtown Music Fest

Amidst a crowd of playful children, happy dogs, and spirited adults, Imagine Circus performers brought the “Big Top” feel to Midtown Music Fest, the third annual celebration of spring at North Hills in Raleigh, NC! This free and open to the public fest showcased a variety of musical genres at alternating stages, along with tasty food trucks, craft beer and cocktails, and a vendor village. Petals on the Go offered hands-on flower crown making, Chirba Chirba dished out delicious dumplings, and Big Boss poured copious amounts of local beer. Imagine Circus stilt walkers towered over the crowd– giving high fives, posing for photos, and spreading circus cheer! Capping off a perfect spring day, Imagine Circus heated things up with a captivating Fire Show featuring fire mask, fans, hoops, poi, staff, and acrobatics.
