It was great to be back in Black Mountain, NC for the Fall edition of the Lake Eden Arts Festival on October 20th, 21st, and 22nd! Leaf is the #1 festival for Kids, Music, and Camping in Western North Carolina and we’re so glad to be a part of the fun!

Family-Friendly Circus Show

On Saturday, we presented a modified version of our show, Cirque Spectacular, at the Sunshine Village Stage. This 30-minute, family-friendly circus show, featuring our elite performers Ben, Katie, and Kaci.

Stilt Walking Parade Performers & Workshops

In addition to roving performances, our all-star crew of giant stilt walkers led the LEAF parade. We love to get any party started and enjoyed marching through LEAF and encouraging people to participate! Our performers also hosted a free-flowing hoop jam and facilitated a family acrobatic yoga workshop.

NCMA Hoopla: Party in the Park & Moana Movie Night

At an event with over 2,000 patrons, Imagine Circus added a whimsical sparkle to the Polynesian style, Carolina luau at NCMA’s Hoopla: Party in the Park in Raleigh, NC. To celebration the outdoor screening of “Moana,” Our bubble artist delighted children with giant, prismatic bubbles, while our stilt walkers and costumed characters delivered smiles and high fives. Children and adults participated in our Imagine Circus hoop jam, flashing their circus tricks and hula hoop skills. Food trucks served up sweet and savory treats, while the Durham Ukulele Orchestra played some island tunes. Later in the evening, our fire dancers dazzled crowds with their performance to the beat of One Tribe and the Raleigh Drum Circle. This wonderful summer evening concluded with a blazing sunset that matched our fiery performers!

Global Carnival at Jeffrey’s Grove Magnet Elementary

Playfully celebrating spring, Imagine Circus joined Jeffrey’s Grove Magnet Elementary School on Friday, April 28th for their annual Global Carnival, a school-wide event for parents and students complete with cultural presentations, food trucks, fair games, bounce houses, and some circus flair! Prior to the event, a stilt walker roved throughout the school grounds, surprising students as she visited classrooms during afternoon dismissal. Once the event began, Imagine Circus’s winged fairy face painter and spring flower glitter hair artist adorned children with decorative swirls and hair sparkles! Later in the evening, our performers presented a 50 minute Aerial and Acrobatic Show, debuting our brand new Circus Gear aerial rig! Following the show, performers hosted an interactive hoop jam and posed for photos with students and adults. Fun was had by all!
