Breaking Ground at the Durham Innovation District

Imagine Circus welcomed Durham’s top business and political leaders to the official Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Durham Innovation District. In full cirque ensemble, our stilt walker greeted with a magical smile, while our acrobatic duo entertained guests as they enjoyed delectable local treats including donuts from Monuts, Brood soda, and local ice cream. Many speakers shared their excitement for the planned project including Durham’s Mayor Bill Bell. We look forward to seeing the progress on this reimagined urban space!

First Friday Video Shoot at HQ Raleigh and CAM

Imagine Circus joined HQ Raleigh and CAM to celebrate downtown Raleigh’s March First Friday event, entertain local patrons, and film parts of our new promo video. Over twenty of our talented performers and crew came out to showcase their unique skills! We began the evening at HQ with aerials, stilt walking, juggling, acrobatics, and flow arts. We finished the night at CAM with our outdoor fire show. We were delighted to share the evening with Raleigh’s Mayor McFarlane as she delivered her annual State-of-the-City address at CAM between our fire sets.
Big thank you to Todd Spiering from Circus Gear for helping with rigging set up and break down and to our fabulous body painter Molly for helping our performers look their best! Also a shoutout and thank you to Liz at HQ and Gab Smith and Tamar Harris Warren at CAM for graciously inviting us into your space!
