Step back in time and visit Venice for an afternoon of merriment, music, games, traditional craft demonstrations, and art-making for the whole family! Princesses and kings, pirates and comedians, fairies and acrobats are just some of the people you will encounter at the NCMA’s Renaissance Village.  Imagine Circus performers will be roving on stilts and juggling throughout the grounds.

Activities take place inside and out, rain or shine, and will include calligraphy, blacksmithing, maskmaking, interactive drumming, and performances.

Don’t miss a chance to get up close with Italian Renaissance art! Visitors to the Renaissance Fair can receive a free youth ticket (ages 7–18) to Glory of Venice: Renaissance Paintings 1470–1520 with a paid adult ticket.
