The world we live in is even more magical than anything we could hope to imagine. During this fun hour, we’re going to be playing with a vacuum chamber to see what happens to marshmallows and balloons when the pressure from the air is removed. We’ll also have some liquid nitrogen on hand and observe freezing objects which we don’t normally get to see frozen. We will discuss how these topics relate to physics in space and in the laboratory. At the end, we’ll have an entertaining act using liquid nitrogen which will be certain to amaze.
